Women Celebrate Kgosi Kealetile In Style

Date:

It was an all-white affair this past Sunday when ‘Bomme Ba Batawana’ threw a surprise party for former Regent, Kgosi Kealetile Moremi to celebrate her on Mothers’ Day.

The all glitz and glamorous women’s function was meant to express love, appreciation, and gratitude for Kealetile, who in April stepped down from office following the return of his brother, Kgosi Tawana Moremi II.

Mother’s Day is a celebration that honours mothers and mother figures for their unconditional love, support as well as their influence in society. The day is all about celebrating the women who raise and shape children into the responsible beings they turn out to be, ensuring a conducive environment.

The party which was held at Parkview Hotel in Maun was graced by ladies from all walks of life including both Moremi’s family and friends all dressed in white. Her mother, Mohumagadi Boitshoko Moremi was also present to witness the love given to her daughter and celebrate the day with her as well.

The music, food and the decor were all top tier – as the event was hosted in an elegant dining indoor setting with cream white tables complemented by golden lamps.

By 6 pm, the lady of the moment arrived at the parking area and was given a surprising welcome by women in white holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Awe-inspiring messages were read out to her by different attendees also as a way of appreciation.

Kealetile’s daughter Kealeboga Mosinyi described her as an embodiment of love, care and strength.

“My mother has taught me the morals of life, she has instilled in me humbleness, honesty and integrity and for that I will never let her down. I admire, respect and appreciate you for the things you have done for me. Batawana ba kile ba kgaba ka wena,” Mosinyi said.

Kealetile was described as a humble, loving and caring woman who is always cheerful. She was also appreciated for having served her people well as regent. Moremi was also described as someone with good morals and represented ‘Batawana’ very well.

In appreciation, Kealetile expressed her joy over the surprise party, she said that the organizers had outdone themselves and gone an extra mile, adding that the gesture will forever be memorable.

It was her most prized gift, an iPhone that wowed her even more, “what a gorgeous gift! Thank you so much for taking the time to help make the day extra wonderful,” she appreciated.
