The Bodibeng born musician, Keneetswe Kahivei who is popularly known by his stage name, ‘Nature BW’ has released a new hit single titled ‘Sekuturu.’
The Herero uprising Afro Pop star released the single on the 27th of September and just like his other singles the song has not disappointed as it has been well received by his legion fans. The song also has a dance challenge that is currently trending on social media platforms.
The youthful artist’s songs are mainly in Herero language, but also uses a bit of Setswana and English. The new song also begins with his popular slogan, ‘Tjinatjomavara,’ which is mostly used in his other songs. The slogan refers to a colourful animal with polka dots hence the reason why his followers are called ‘Team Dots Dots.’
The newly released single Sekuturu is the name of a Herero dance from way back that was mostly favoured by children; it is however the artist’s way of bringing the dance back in a modernized way with a much better vibe.
The song continues to gain traction on social media including you tube just like his other songs and he has so far been receiving positive feedback.
Nature BW’s Manager Omphemetse Maregase told The Weekender that they have worked hard on the new single and the positive feedback they are receiving is what they had expected. The artist gave fans the taste of the new single at his booked shows during this past Independence Holidays.
“Sekuturu was first performed at one of the main Independence holiday events, ‘The Maun Carnival’ and at Chillas Pub in Botshabelo ward in Maun where it was highly accepted and loved” he noted.

Nature BW who loved singing and dancing from a very young age was motivated by one producer, Eric Cadogg who saw his talent at a very young age. Cadogg then managed to help the artist produce his very first song called ‘New Day’ in 2010 and since then Nature BW has never looked back.
The artist however penetrated the market in 2017 when he released his hot single called Oukambe. With a total of 15 songs under his belt to date, his songs have been some of the most listened to country wide.
Maregase said Nature BW’s dedication to his music has seen him grow, to a level where he has the stage with big local and international artist, including the likes of ‘Vee, Franco, Charma-gal Stiga Sola and Makhadzi.
He further expressed concern over promoters who continue take advantage of Nature BW as a rising star and do not pay him well, highlighting that some only pay the deposit but fail to pay the balance.
