Circumstances have taken a dramatic twist for Ookeditse Seelo who ran over his former lover with a car last month and now facing murder after Olebogeng Maifala succumbed to injuries sustained in the freak fight.

The forty-nine-year-old Tonota native, who was denied bail since his arraignment two weeks ago, learnt of his new charge on Thursday last week, during his brief mention before the Francistown Magistrate Court.

According to Prosecutor Mabalane, the 25-year-old Maifala who had sustained fractures on both pelvis bones and another fracture on her right ankle died at Nyangabgwe Referral hospital on Wednesday morning.
