Quinton Thuto Kgosi Paulos, a learner at Flamingo International School, has received a prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for his exceptional performance in the November 2025 Cambridge International Education examination series.
The global Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the achievements of learners across more than 140 countries worldwide. Quinton achieved a Top in Country Award for IGCSE Environmental Management. This remarkable title places him among the very highest-performing learners nationally.
Cambridge qualifications develop learners’ knowledge, understanding, and skills. This prepares them for success beyond the classroom, including higher education and future career opportunities. Because of these high standards, these qualifications are recognized and valued by leading universities globally.
Peter D’Arcy, Principal of Flamingo International School, highlighted that this achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of both learners and staff. He acknowledged Mrs. Thato Moalosi, Quinton’s Environmental Management teacher, and the wider High School teaching team for their continued efforts in nurturing learner excellence.
Quinton will receive his Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award at a school ceremony on 17th September 2026. At this event, Flamingo International School will also recognize top learners from the 2024 and 2025 IGCSE examination cycles who achieved the maximum score of 48 points.
Botash Acting Managing Director, Othusitse Seokamo, warmly congratulated Quinton and the school community, saying:
“We are extremely proud of Quinton’s outstanding achievement and the dedication demonstrated by his teacher, Mrs. Moalosi, the teaching staff, and all Cambridge learners at Flamingo International School. Their commitment and hard work have resulted in exceptional examination outcomes. These achievements reflect the value of quality education and provide a strong foundation for future academic and career success. We congratulate them all and wish continued success.”
