Another international boxing tournament is on the cards before year end as Tinashe Madzwiwana a boxer from Zimbabwe will be crossing over to exchange punches with Gold Rush title holder Moabi “The Eagle” Ngaka.
The boxing tournament dubbed “Boys to Men” will be held in Francistown on December 13 2025 at Adansonia Hotel, six months after The Perfect Punch successfully hosted the inaugural Gold Rush tournament.
Launching the “Boys to Men” boxing tournament on Tuesday, Technical Director Larona Francis said, “two international boxers from neighbouring Zimbabwe will title the tournament. The main bout is between Moabi “The Eagle” Ngaka the national light weight title holder and Tinashe Madziwana an international super feather weight.”
“The supporting bout will be between Botswana Rajab Otukile Mohammed and another fighter from Zimbabwe. Mohammed is an elite boxer who represented Botswana at the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo,” highlighted Francis.
Apart from these two hotly contested bouts, six local boxers will showcase their talent in three preliminary bouts. These include the likes of Ontlhafatse Mayweather Phane and Kealeboga Alton among others.
The organisers of the tournament promised to deliver an entertaining event once again and hope to improve from the last boxing event.
